It has an exquisitely soft surface texture and it looks the same on both sides. The crosshatch design is small-scale and irregular with an occasional slub. It is stable in both directions and opaque with a tight weave and some body in the drape. Beautiful quality! The yarn-dyed fibers are black and ash gray (PANTONE 15-0000).
