From Italian designer deadstock, this boiled wool fleece will make a stunning cozy cardigan jacket, cocoon coat, cape, shawl, etc. The fabulous textured, yarn-dyed floral design (28" repeat) is knitted-in and is seen as a flat weave on the reverse. It has a very dimensional, fleecy surface and body in the drape. Colors include garnet, fern green and dove gray on a dark navy background (PANTONE 17-6153, 19-3920, 19-1663, 17-1502, etc.). The fabric has a knit construction with about 15% stretch in the width, just a bit of give in the length. It is very stable, so it's a perfect choice for an unlined jacket or coat style (but it can also be lined, if you wish!). Dry cleaning recommended.
