From deadstock of the famous designer, this is a fine quality printed cotton batiste, a very light weight that is semi-sheer with no stretch. It has a delicate feel, soft and smooth with a tight weave and a some cottony body in the drape. The "earth and water" print (5" repeat) features russet brown, chocolate, black, light taupe, dandelion, medium and dark lake blue (PANTONE 18-1238, 15-1054, 18-4032, 12-5202, etc.). It is perfect for a blouse, shirt, top, tunic, dress or skirt, etc. It looks about the same on both sides, so this would also make a lovely scarf or delicate shawl. Some styles may need lining or layering. Hand wash cold, hang to dry (please test first).
