From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderfully unique printed cotton challis. Very lightweight and semi-sheer, it has an unusually soft hand for cotton (it feels more like viscose, but a burn test confirmed that it IS cotton) and a floaty drape with a subtle crepe texture. The bold and conversational 'caribbean seas' print (31.5" repeat) features a lively nautical scene in shades of blue sage, buttercream, chestnut, terracotta, soft black, with occasional dusty lavender, periwinkle and chili (PANTONE 15-6310, 12-0720, 17-3313, 16-4120, 18-1448, 15-1237, etc.). Perfect for a kaftan, kimono-style robe, blouses, shirts, tunics, etc. The reverse is almost as saturated as the face. Some styles will need lining or layering. Please test first if you wish to hand wash, and hang to dry, or dry clean.
