Italian cotton jacquard varying weave coating - papyrus/black/cherry

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a very cool, mostly cotton suiting/coating, an opaque woven that is a firmer jacket/coating weight. Substantial and tightly woven with a firm drape and no stretch. The weave alternates between bands of herringbone, basketweave, etc. for wonderful variation in pattern and texture in a 25" vertical repeat. The colors are dark cherry, papyrus and black (PANTONE 19-1650, 11-0806, etc.). You can orient the stripes horizontally or vertically, on the bias, to achieve an endless variety of effects! Make a stunning blanket coat, cool weather topper coat, jacket, etc. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try another method.
