Italian 'butterfly mingle' cotton pique' knit 1.125 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderful lightweight cotton pique' knit with about 20% widthwise stretch. Although it has a micro-texture, it is smooth and soft to the touch. The base color of the fabric is medium gray heather, which serves to mute the coloration of the print in a really beautiful way. The stunning "butterfly mingle" print (31.25" repeat) features a mellow range of colors including fuchsia, iris, cherry, mustard, green gold, granite green, brown, black, etc. (PANTONE 18-1442, 18-3920, 16-1118, 15-0850, 16-6008, etc.) and the reverse shows the solid gray (PANTONE 17-4402). With its soft, cottony drape it is perfect for tops and tunics, a dress, elastic waist pants, robe, skirt, light cardigan, etc. This fabric is nearly opaque, but some styles may need lining.
