Lor0 Piana merino wool rainwear - royal

Sourced from Italy, this Lor0 Piana deadstock rainwear is a phenomenal find! A super lightweight member of the Storm System® family of sophisticated, weather-resistant luxury fabrics, the face is a finely knitted 100% merino wool backed with a supple membrane (polyurethane) which is soft, comfortable and malleable. While the face is a very thin knit, the fabric is stable due to the backing. It is woven from sustainably sourced wool and its unique hydrophobic treatment repels water, but with breathability and a lightweight nature which allow for year-round wear. The color is a gorgeous royal blue (PANTONE 19-3952 is close), with subtle variegation running widthwise. An outstanding choice for a trench coat, classic raincoat, outerwear jacket, utility vest, etc. Lining can be added for extra warmth or substance. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try hand or machine washing (hang to dry).
