From Italian designer deadstock, this is an incredibly soft brushed cotton blend twill, a medium coating weight with body in the drape. The wonderfully vibrant yarn-dyed madras plaid design (26" repeat) is woven in many shades including cobalt, violet, rose, coral rose, sky, lemon, black, etc. (PANTONE 16-1349, 18-3944, 16-4725, 17-2230, etc.). The back side shows the uncombed twill and carries the same plaid design without the brushed texture. It is stable in both directions, and is opaque with a soft and downy surface texture for an amazing feel. It would be perfect for a cozy cape, coat, jacket, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try either hand or machine washing.
