From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderful viscose challis woven with a matte finish, made from a new and more sustainable iteration of viscose called Ecovero. EcoVero is made from sustainably sourced, renewable resources and the end product is completely biodegradable. The overall environmental impact is so low that it has been awarded the prestigious EU Ecolabel. EcoVero performs exceptionally well for everyday wear as it is very soft, comfortable, breathable and durable with a lovely drape. A wonderful choice for your professional wardrobe as well, as this fabric retains vivid color, does not pill and can mimic silk. An exciting development in eco-friendly fashion! This beauty is light weight and nearly opaque with a flowing, soft drape. The "arts and crafts coneflowers" design (8.125" repeat) features tones of violet, jade, apricot and black on a copper brown background (PANTONE 15-1153, 19-3526, 16-5421, 18-1336 is close, etc.). It is perfect for a shirt, blouse, tunic, top, lined dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash, hang to dry (please test first), or dry clean.
