Italian 'chevron terrace' jacquard knit - berry/black/gold .875 yds

This is a gorgeous, yarn-dyed jacquard knit, a bit lighter in weight and drape than a doubleknit and not as heavy or firm as ponte. The wonderful "chevron terrace" pattern (7.75" repeat) has a color story of berry, black and metallic gold Lurex combined with a matte taupe for a lovely glistening gold (PANTONE 19-1934, 12-0605, etc.). The back side is pretty as well, a melange of all three colors creating a deep berry red with a golden sparkle and the same smooth texture as the face, so your garment won't necessarily need lining. You'll also have the option to reverse the fabric for contrasting pattern pieces or bindings. It has 20% stretch in the width only and is opaque with a bit of body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, upscale hoodie, knit jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, fitted pants, etc. So versatile!
