French 'shifting weaves' wool/cotton tweed 1.75 yds

From French designer deadstock, this unique and wonderful wool/cotton tweed woven is medium suiting/light coating weight with some body in the drape. It is tightly woven and opaque with a dramatic, large scale 'shifting weaves' pattern (48" repeat) in black and winter white. The very "au courant" pattern resembles overlapping or patchwork shapes. We are selling this by the yard rather than as a panel because there is no distinct delineation in the pattern repeat, but keep in mind that you will want at least 1.33 yards for a full repeat of the pattern. It's the perfect weight for a jacket, suit, skirt, slacks, fitted dress, topper coat, etc. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try another method. 1.75 yds.
