This beautiful boiled 100% wool knit is a cozy and warm medium coating weight with a textured surface (same on both sides). It is opaque with some body in the drape, and the color is classic black. Although it has about 20% stretch in the width, it is very stable, and doesn't fray, so it's a perfect choice for an unlined jacket or coat style (but it can also be lined, if you wish!).
