From a mill in Italy, comes this wonderful viscose challis woven with a matte finish, using a new and more sustainable iteration of viscose called Ecovero. EcoVero is a viscose fabric made from sustainably sourced, renewable resources and the end product is completely biodegradable. The overall environmental impact is so low that it has been awarded the prestigious EU Ecolabel. EcoVero performs exceptionally well for everyday wear as it is very soft, comfortable, breathable and durable with a lovely drape and resistance to wrinkling. It is great for sportswear as the cellulose fibers regulate moisture and stay cool. A wonderful choice for your professional wardrobe as well, as this fabric retains vivid color, does not pill and can mimic silk. Versatile, comfortable and easy to wear, EcoVero is an exciting development in eco-friendly fashion. This beauty is light weight and opaque with a lovely, soft drape. The "Ikat paisley" design (24" repeat) features tones of wisteria, raspberry, plum, petal pink, dijon and ecru on a peat (very very dark greenish brown) background (PANTONE 19-0508, 17-3612, 18-1754, 19-2428, 15-0743, 16-2120, etc.). It is perfect for a shirt, blouse, tunic, top, dress, skirt, etc. Hand wash, hang to dry (please test first), or dry clean.
