Italian silk blend stretch basketweave suiting - red/white 1.5 yds

This is an incredibly unique, spring/summer suiting with a blend of silk, cotton, poly and spandex in a tight basketweave. The weft is a blend of winter white cotton threads and a pearly white poly ribbon which adds an upscale refinement, and the warp is a cherry red (PANTONE 19-1663, etc.) It has a smooth surface with about 10% stretch LENGTHWISE, and it looks the same on both sides. While it has just a bit of stretch widthwise, you will probably want to cut your garment across the grain, so that the stretch goes across your body. It is opaque and has body in the drape but is malleable, not "crisp". Make a tailored jacket, suit, skirt, stretch pants, fitted dress, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. 1.5 yds.
