Italian textured wool blend fleece knit - butterfly dream 2.5 yd

From Italy, this wonderful textured wool blend fleece is just right for a fun and fabulous jacket, cape, topper coat, structured cardigan, etc. The "butterfly dream" pattern (12" repeat) is smaller-scale and intricate, and the fabric features a soft, brushed texture on the printed side, and a more plain, flat knit stitch on the reverse. The colors are a gorgeous mix of soft clay and earthtones (PANTONE 17-0610, 16-1220, 17-1605, 19-4005, etc.). The fabric has a knit construction but it's quite stable with about 15% stretch in the width. It does fray a bit at the cut edges, so for an unlined jacket it would need some kind of binding or hemming. Medium weight with a good amount of body in the drape, and a cozy, fleecy texture. This fabric comes from a mill that uses sustainable and ethical practices. Dry cleaning recommended, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit (hand wash, lay flat to dry). 2.5 yds.
