Italian designer 'swirling bands' jacquard brocade

From Italy, this is an absolutely spectacular jacquard brocade! Various matte and reflective fibers are woven in varying directions to form a pattern of dramatic, swirling bands. The larger areas of black have a reflective sheen (looks almost like leather!), while the other fibers and colors have a matte finish. There is a slight texture in some of the matte black areas. The reverse is not meant to be seen. It is a fully opaque suiting weight with a body in the drape. The gorgeous, woven-in 'swirling bands' design (55" repeat) features shades of Dutch blue, purple sage, grape and black (PANTONE 18-3928, 18-3712, 19-3730). It is perfect for a special occasion topper coat, jacket, suit, sheath dress, etc. Beautiful quality and VERY unique. Dry cleaning recommended.
