This beautiful, yarn-dyed ponte doubleknit has the firmness of a ponte along with the texture and malleable nature of a doubleknit, making it perfect for any pattern calling for either one. The yarn dyed windowpane plaid design (2.875" repeat) is eye-catching and modern, featuring shades of black, ecru and French blue (PANTONE 16-4132). The reverse has a more blended, tweedy look that makes a great contrast fabric. It has a soft drape with body, and about 15% stretch in the width only. It is perfect for a structured cardigan, tunic, knit dress or knit suiting, skirt, close-fitting pants, topper coat, etc. Test first if you wish to hand wash and hang to dry, or dry clean.
