Italian textured dot wool fleece knit - starry night

(Limited yardage, only about 5 yards) From Italy, this wonderful textured wool fleece is just right for a fabulous cardigan, jacket, cape, topper coat, etc. The dimensional "starry night" dot pattern (24" repeat) features raised and recessed areas and a brushed texture. The design is knitted in (not a print), seen as a flat weave on the reverse. Colors are olive, burnt orange, sapphire, etc. on a dark navy ground (PANTONE 17-0324, 19-3950, 19-4025, etc.). The fabric has a knit construction but it's quite stable with about 10% stretch in the width, and it has neat decorative selvages that can be used at hems or edges. Medium weight with a good amount of body in the drape, and a cozy, fleecy texture. Dry cleaning recommended, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit (hand wash, lay flat to dry).
