Abraham vintage couture silk jacquard - ruby/emerald 1.625 yd

This stunning silk print is from the famous Abraham Ltd. company based in Zurich, a supplier of the highest quality silks to many of the top couture houses in the latter part of the 20th century. This blouseweight silk jacquard has a tight weave and a very smooth texture, and is opaque with a soft and floaty drape. The jacquard weave has an abstract dot design, and the stylized floral (12.25" repeat) features shades of ruby, emerald peach and black (PANTONE 19-1760, 16-6329, 15-1245). This is a vintage fabric, perhaps a collector's item! Perfect for a blouse, top, tunic, dress, lining for a couture jacket, etc. (Mill name printed in selvage, which adds to the price.)
