Italian 'three wools' patchwork woven - salt/pepper 1.125 yds

This unique and sophisticated beauty from Italy takes three different wools, a tweed, a herringbone and a mini zigzag, arranging them in alternating strips that are overlapped about 1/2" and sewn together with a decorative wide diamond stitch. The patchwork strips run vertically and there's an overall 17.75" horizontal repeat. It is an opaque suiting weight in a salt-and-peppery coloring with very, very subtle bits of metallic for teeny pinpoints of sparkle. The drape is soft, with some body.
