French jacquard weave skirt panel - black/silver 1 panel

Exquisite jacquard weave skirt panels from France, each 40" long. These are sold by the panel, so order in whole numbers. The upper part is a shirred and elasticized waistband (38" wide when not stretched), which blossoms out into a gathered skirt (52" wide, if flattened out). The colors are black and silver metallic, woven in a beautiful decorative stripe design. For an average size adult one panel may be adequate, depending upon how much gathering you want. The fabric is semi-sheer so this will need some sort of lining. Whip up a fantastic one-seam skirt or dress with little effort. Other possibilities: perhaps a shirred-bodice dress or top, or get creative and turn upside down to make a peasant style top/blouse with a shirred waist. SO cool... have fun with it!!
