Scuba knit, (sometimes called neoprene, but it's constructed more for apparel than industrial use, so it's the weight of a doubleknit and it's easy to sew) seems to be very hot right now, and this beefy 4-way stretch doubleknit has a smooth texture, lots of body in the drape, and about 15% stretch in the width, 5% in the length. The panel print, with its glen plaid-filled NYC skyline silhouette, has quite an edgy and fashion-forward look. Since the silhouette goes in both directions, it makes your garment layout a lot more flexible. How clever that it features three big trends, all in one fabric: black and white, Mad Men, and Scuba!
