It is as thick and substantial as a doubleknit but has a single knit jersey construction with about 30% stretch in the width, 10% in the length. It has a bit of texture and a cozy micro-boucle' look. Medium weight, tightly knit and opaque with body in the drape, it is perfect for a cardigan, tunic, sweater dress, knit suiting, skirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit.
