This is a beautiful boucle' sweater knit from a NY designer, which seems like wool and mohair but is actually a cotton sweater knit backing with mohair-like yarns woven through widthwise to create little periodic nubs and long silky "hairs". It is a textured sweater knit that has a woven aspect as well (a knit/woven hybrid!). The colors are cool gray and silvery white (PANTONE 14-4203 is close to the medium gray). It is a cozy, medium weight and opaque knit with a soft drape, and it has about 20% mechanical stretch in both directions. Use for a drapey cardigan, sweater jacket, scarf, casual sweater coat, slouchy pullover, etc. Dry cleaning recommended, or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
