This wonderful Italian coating weight has a boiled wool face and a smooth knit backing. The color is jet black, and it is thick, cozy, warm with body in the drape. It doesn't fray and the backing has a nice finished look, so it is perfect for a fabulous winter jacket or coat, lined or unlined. It is very stable but does have 15% stretch in the width only. A modern classic! Dry cleaning recommended. 2 yds.
