This The0ry cotton stripe, made in Italy, has a sketchy vertical stripe design and about 10% mechanical widthwise stretch. The black stripes are puckered like seersucker, while the white areas are not, creating a wonderful texture that has a somewhat crisp cottony drape. It is a shirting weight woven, nearly opaque, and perfect for shirts, dresses, tunics, etc. If you wish to try hand- or machine-washing please test first, and hang or lay flat to dry.
