Italian red/black mosaic stripe stretch matelasse' brocade

This beauty from Italy is a wonderful stretch matelasse' brocade with a textured mosaic stripe graphic pattern (13.5" repeat) in black and red (PANTONE 18-1550). It has about 10% widthwise stretch with perfect recovery, and is a medium weight suiting with lots of body in the drape. A reversible fabric, it has raised black ribs on the darker side, and a somewhat smoother texture on the lighter side. It has a matte finish on both sides. It's perfect for a tailored jacket, pencil skirt, fitted dress, topper coat, suit, stretch pants, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
