Italian black/white oversized stripe sweatery 'ponte' 1.875 yds

This amazing quality yarn-dyed stripe from Italy is similar to a ponte in weight but with a more sweatery texture. It has about 25% widthwise and 15% lengthwise stretch and the black and white oversized stripe has a 23.625" repeat. You can easily orient your stripes to run vertically on your garment, if you prefer. The reverse comes across as dark gray and white due to the micro-striping in the dark areas, so it serves as an interesting contrast. Since it's opaque and medium weight, it is perfect for any number of sweater knit coordinates: dress, skirt, jacket, cardigan, tunic, pullover, etc. There are many possibilities for this fabric, and a mix of stripe directions (including on the bias!) could really produce fantastic results.
