Brazil 'athleisure' 4-way stretch matelasse' - white 1.66 yd

Made in Brazil, this is a fantastic 2-ply matelasse' knit with a basketweave pattern quilted look, nicely textured and so soft, with some cushioning between the layers. The color is white, and it is medium weight and opaque with body in the drape. It has about 70% stretch widthwise and 60% lengthwise with great recovery, but it is quite stable, making it a versatile fabric perfect for an indoor or outdoor fitted jacket, hoodie, trendy body-con dress or skirt, vest, etc. From casual wear to an evening out, this fabulous fabric reflects the current "athleisure" trend.
