We are straightening out our fabric closet (where unposted fabrics are kept) and are uncovering all kinds of goodies that were buried by other goodies! This one, from a NY designer, a stretch matelasse' knit with a dimensional surface texture that has a subtle 'fairisle style' graphic pattern. The color is black, and it is a medium-weight knit, opaque with a soft drape that has some body and 60% stretch in the width, 40% in the length with great recovery. Make a fabulous bodycon tee, top, tunic, dress, skirt, cardigan, leggings, etc. Test first for hand- or machine-washability, and hang to dry.
