French cotton blend navy/shimmer fancy weave

From a recent French shipment, this is a beautiful novelty weave suiting, with a "wavy navy" design that has a mix of matte/opaque and shimmery/sheer yarns with shots of off white that add dimension and contrast (PANTONE 19-3920). It has a more firm drape, a bit like raffia, and uses fibers of various textures and thicknesses to create its slatted, "peek-a-boo" look. Make a fabulous jacket or topper coat, and play with the direction of the stripes to achieve any number of striking and unique garments. One side shows more white than the other. Much more beautiful in real life! Dry cleaning recommended.
