From a CA designer, this is a wonderful and unique embroidered cotton lawn/batiste that is far more pretty in real life! It has a lovely embroidered floral border along one selvedge and then intermitten flowery motifs throughout the rest of the width. The fabric is lightweight and semi-opaque, a soft white, and the embroidery is ivory, which gives it a vintage look. Lovely design perfect for a casual summer peasant top, tunic or gathered skirt (bottoms should be lined, probably with cotton batiste). Turn your pattern pieces so that the embroidery is at the hem of your garment--the drape is the same in either direction. Hand wash cold, hang to dry.
