French wool tweed - jewel tones 2 yds

This tweed fabric made in France has a basketweave texture with vibrant jewel tones on a black background, and the yarns are of varying widths and textures: some are boucle, some twisted, some variegated. Much more vivid and wonderful in real life! A bit on the pricey side, but it's apparently all wool (can't swear to it, although a burn test did not show any synthetic fibers at all), made in France and it sold for $62.95 in New York. It's a perfect suiting weight, make a Chanel-style jacket, coat, suit, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. 2 yds.
