Italian tweedy herringbone doubleknit - black/white 1.125 yds

This beauty was made in Italy, a yarn-dyed doubleknit, similar in weight and drape to ponte (but a bit softer and more stretchy), opaque with about 60% stretch widthwise, 40% lengthwise. The yarn-dyed herringbone design has a tweedy/hatchy look in black and white, and on the back is a simple tweed that can be used as contrast. A sophisticated and classic look that is perfect for an upscale fitted dress, knit jacket or suit, pencil skirt, tunic, pullover, etc. While I don't know the exact fiber percentages, it does have a high viscose content.
