famous designer wool gauze - beetlemania

This is a FABULOUS all-wool woven, with a somewhat loose weave that makes it drapey and semi-sheer. It is almost mesh-like, with a slightly gauzy or crepey texture, and it is printed with the most wonderful insect print (30.75" vertical, 19.5" horizontal repeat) that has an ornate, medallion-like graphic embedded with beetles, caterpillars, etc! The colors are black and soft off white, and it's almost equally saturated on both sides. It's the coolest fabric ever, and is perfect for a conversational blouse, shirt, tunic, overshirt, dress, skirt... etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Dry cleaning is recommended, but if you wish to hand wash, please test first, and lay flat or hang to dry.
