Much more beautiful in real lift, this is a stretch matelasse' knit from a NY dsigner, with a dimensional surface texture that has a flowery graphic pattern. The color is black, and it is medium-weight and opaque with a soft drape that has some body. It is a 3-ply, stable knit with 15% stretch in the width, and is soft and malleable. Make a fabulous fitted dress, jacket, suit, skirt, dress pants, etc. Test first for hand- or machine-washability and hang to dry, or dry clean. 1.625 yds.
