This is a fabulous Italian boiled wool textured knit, medium-weight and dense with a brushed surface texture on the face, more of a flat knit on the reverse, and lots of body in the drape. The black decorative pattern has a 17.5" repeat and is raised slightly above the winter white background. It has about 30% widthwise stretch, 15% lengthwise, but it's very stable. Opaque and cozy and perfect for an indoor jacket, a more structured cardigan, roomy sweater tunic, sweater skirt, etc. Dry clean, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit.
