NY designer pleated micro-knit - woodgrainy abstract 1.5 yd

From the sample room of a NY designer, this is a micro-pleated satin knit print with a very cool woodgrainy abstract design in black and white. The pleats run horizontally and will expand VERTICALLY with perfect recovery (the pleats are permanent), and your garment should probably be cut so that the length of the pattern pieces goes from selvedge to selvedge, so that the pleats will run lengthwise on your garment. In the photos I show the way it comes off the roll, and I also tried to show it turned so that the pleats run up and down. It's opaque with lots of drape, and it is perfect for a day to evening shirt, tunic, skirt, top, dress, etc. Pleats will stretch out about 20%, and the lengthwise grain has 20% stretch as well, but is very stable (won't stretch unless you pull on it). Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash, and hang to dry.
