Italian backed chunky crochet knit - dijon/charcoal

This fabulous novelty knit from a NY designer and made in Italy is thick, cozy, warm and stable because it's a 2-ply construction. The upper layer is a chunky open "crochet-like" stitch in dijon, and the backing is a charcoal gray fleece (PANTONE 16-1054, 18-0000). It has a firmer drape and is perfect for an eye-catching fall/winter outerwear garment. The backing goes up to the edge of one selvedge while on the other side it stops about 3" from the edge. The stitching of the upper layer closes up along each selvedge as shown most clearly in the top photo. Dry cleaning recommended.
