French blue/cream abstract stretch cotton brocade

Just in with a new shipment from France and Italy, this is a wonderful stretch cotton blend brocade with a lively abstract pattern and about 5% stretch in the LENGTH only. (Because there's so little stretch, you can either make use of it by cutting your garment across the grain, or you can just ignore the stretch and cut in the usual way, without adverse effect.) The colors are dark mallard blue, periwinkle, light blue and midnight on a creamy white background (PANTONE 13-4411, 16-3930, 19-4420, etc.). It is a medium weight suiting with some surface texture and lots of body in the drape. It is perfect for a fabulous tailored jacket or coat. Dry cleaning recommended.
