J'Envie basketweave-textured black novelty knit .875 yds

This great-looking novelty knit from J'Envie has a textured basketweave design, created by knitting process that creates gathered and textured areas for a dimensional surface. It's overall about the weight of a doubleknit, so it's opaque with body in the drape. One side has a more "gathery, puckery" texture to the lines that make up the basketweave (shown in the closeup) while the other side has a more smooth texture to the lines (drapey photo), but both sides have raised and recessed areas. It has about 10% widthwise and 10% lengthwise stretch, but is quite stable. The color is black. Make any number of body-conscious knit top styles, cardigan, tunic, dress, skirts, etc. Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash in cold water, hang or lay flat to dry. LAST PIECE, .875 yds.
