French textured cotton over-printed floral woven

Another fascinating beauty just in from France! This one is a medium weight cotton blend printed woven, opaque with a more firm drape. The weave is a mix of thinner white warp yarns and thicker weft yarns, to form a basketweave-textured surface that has a hand-loomed look. The hand is quite soft and cottony. It is over-printed with a beautiful floral design in navy, loden, coral red, burnt sienna, sage and soft white on a light blue background (PANTONE 15-4005, 17-1644, 18-0420, etc.). Best for a jacket, a simple sheath dress, pouffy skirt, shorts or capris, etc. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try hand washing, and hang to dry.
