French fancy weave over-printed cotton blend

Another fascinating beauty just in from France! This one is a medium weight cotton blend printed brocade, opaque with a more firm drape. The weave is a mix of thinner black warp yarns and thicker off white weft yarns, to form rows of slash-like lines. It is over-printed with a beautiful abstracted floral in denimy blues and ivory (PANTONE 18-3927, 19-3925, 11-0606...ish). Best for a spring coat or jacket, something with simple lines that will showcase the fabric! It would also work for a very tailored simple sheath dress. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try hand washing, and hang to dry.
