This is a stunning and very unusual sequinned silk from a well-known designer. The base fabric is a black silk sheer crepe weave, and the rosettes are formed by spirals of little brass discs hand-sewn onto the silk. This is a very weighty fabric (because of the metal rosettes) with lots of drape, so I recommend it for a dressy top or little jacket to wear over basic black, for a very elegant evening outfit. Dry clean only.
