Another fabulous cotton blend, yarn-dyed matelasse' knit from a NY designer! The fabric has a bit of surface texture and the weight and drape are similar to a doubleknit with 20% widthwise stretch. The woodcut chevron design features slightly raised winter white areas and tweedy black recessed areas, while the reverse is a solid black that is smooth and soft, but not meant to be seen. Make a fabulous fitted dress, knit jacket, pencil skirt, knit suit, tunic, etc. The drape has lots of body and the cotton blend is comfortable and versatile! Dry clean, or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat or hang to dry. 1.75 yds.
