From Kate B0ggiano, this is a soft and casual 2-ply cotton knit, with 25% widthwise stretch. The salt and pepper tweedy over-layer (gunmetal gray and off white) is a fine sweater knit, while the off white underlayer is a lightweight cotton knit. They are attached with tiny stitches that form a subtle stripey pattern. The fabric has a soft drape and is similar to a doubleknit or light sweatshirt weight. Soft and comfy, a great upscale casual basic for hoodies, tops, tunics, casual dress or skirt, pull-on pants, etc. Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash.
