A beautiful rayon blend sweater knit in a soft black from a NY designer, this fabric is soft as cashmere, lightweight and very drapey, yet tightly knit so it's not sheer. It's just perfect for drapey tops, pullovers and cardigan styles. It has about 20% widthwise stretch with great recovery, but is stable lengthwise. So well-priced, this deserves a spot in your stash as an extremely versatile basic! Treat as you would any fine sweater knit--dry clean or test first if you choose to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
