This is an beautiful dress-weight silk woven, opaque with an unusual and very beautiful weave (a micro-pique' surface texture, if you look closely), and a wonderful drape with body that is very similar to a silk twill. It's just perfect for dresses, skirts, tailored shirt, etc. The print is stunning!---a lyrical floral paisley in pearly white and light taupe (PANTONE 14-1209) on a black background. It's from a well-known designer whose name I can't say... Timeless yet fanciful and feminine, versatile and eye-catching. Dry cleaning is best.
