Oh my gosh, this is an extraordinary fabric, even more wonderful in real life! From a NY designer, this is an Italian matelasse' knit, quite textured to resemble a basketweave, with a yarn-dyed plaid design that is striking and fashion forward. The colors are terracotta, mocha, cobalt, light khaki, and an "underweave" of midnight blue (PANTONE 17-1466, 17-1321, 19-4056, etc.) and it is a chunky weight, opaque with body in the drape, and about 10% stretch in the width only. 5.5" vertical repeat, 7.5" horizontal repeat. Make a fabulous fitted dress, cardigan jacket, pencil skirt, suit, tunic, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
