A stunning fancy weave wool blend basketweave tweed just in with a new Fall 2014 lot from Italy, which has far more beauty and texture in real life. It has a mix of two textured yarns, a light gold that is smooth with a slight sheen, the other more wooly in a bronze tonality (PANTONE 19-0820, 14-1108 are in the vicinity). Although it has a rustic look, it's soft, not itchy. It has a right and wrong side, but the wrong side is pretty too! Medium weight suiting with a malleable drape with body. Make a beautiful French tweed jacket, suit, skirt, lighter weight coat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. Selvedges are cut into at periodic intervals by designer (not by us!). LAST PIECE, 1.5 yds.
